GIVING PLEDGE

In 2024, approximately 2 million Americans will receive a cancer diagnosis according to the National Cancer Institute.   More than half a million people in the United States will die of cancer.  It is overwhelmingly the #1 cause of death for Americans under the age of 65.

The American Cancer Society (ACS) is the United States' pre-eminent cancer-fighting organization.  It's goal is to eradicate cancer for everyone.  Digital Life Advisors (DLA) has committed to donate 1% of its service income to ACS and has taken the Pledge 1%.   Pledge 1% is a global movement that inspires, educates, and empowers every entrepreneur, company, and employee to be a force for good.  Over 18,000 members in 100 countries have used Pledge 1%’s flexible framework to ignite half a billion dollars in new philanthropy.

DlA and I endeavor to promote a corporate philanthropy that acts to honor our belief in the value of digital legacy planning and digital legacy giving.  We also do this to honor my father.  Because of his cancer diagnosis and his desire to create a digital plan for his family, he became the impetus for DLA's founding.  He is the roots of DLA and our very first client.
